Sharon Christina Nossavage, 26, of Exeter formerly of Avoca, passed away on Thursday, July 13th at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Scranton, February 26th, 1991 and was the daughter of Christina (Andruzis) Nossavage and the late Frank Nossavage.
She was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, Avoca (SS Peter and Paul). Sharon was a 2009 graduate of Crestwood High School. She enrolled in classes to become an Emergency Medical Technician and worked for the Exeter Ambulance Association and for the Swoyersville Ambulance Association. Sharon enjoyed watching her favorite sports teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NJ Devils, but most of all she enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a loving wife, daughter, step-mother, niece, and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her father, Frank, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Blanch Andruzis.
In addition to her mother, Christina, Sharon is survived by her wife, Kimberly Ann (Clark) Nossavage; her step-children, Chelsea and Tamara Clark; her aunt, Charlene Andruzis, of Avoca; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A blessing service will be held on Monday, evening July 17th at 7pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. Phillip Sladicka of Queen of the Apostles Parish church officiating. Friends may call on Monday evening, July 17th from 4pm until time of service. Interment will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in memory of Sharon’s father, Frank Nossavage at 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
