Lorraine (Tylutke) Antal, 86, of Pittston Twp. passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was born in Pittston Twp. on July 4, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary ( Ziembroski) Tylutke.
Lorraine was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. She attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Parochial School and graduated from Dupont High School. Lorraine worked most of her life in the local garment industry and retired from Lee Manufacturing, Pittston. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and loved to spend long days tending to her garden. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert S. Antal, who died in August of 2000 and her brother Theodore.
She is survived by her sons, Gilbert and his wife Carol and David and his wife Pranee, both of Pittston Twp.; her grandchildren, Gilbert and Jeremy; great-grandson Noah Antal; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at 9:30am from Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with a mass of Christian burial at 10:00am at Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, 715 Hawthorne St., Avoca with Fr. Phillip Sladicka officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday morning, November 13 from 8:30am until time of service. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avoca.
