Audrey J. McCawley, 80, of Pittston Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born in Moosic on March 31, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cleeta (Schenck) Hahn.
Audrey was an active member of Moosic United Methodist Church. She attended Moosic High School and worked for Continental Cigars before retiring from Topps Chewing Gum after many years of dedicated employment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Thomas W. Hahn, Harold Hahn, Richard Hahn, Naomi Crawn, Esther Thiel, and Lulu Jean Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald McCawley; her daughter Melissa Williams, of Avoca; and her grandchildren, Brian Williams Jr., Emily, Justin, and Ciara Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 10:30am at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Rev. Michael Shambora of the Moosic United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, January 21, from 4pm-7pm. Interment will be held at St. John The Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
