Jane A. Donahue Ryan, 93, of Pittston, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Highland Manor Nursing and Rehab Center, Exeter, where she was a resident. She was born in Pittston on May 4, 1929 and was the daughter of the late James and Mary Donahue.
Jane was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. She was a graduate of Pittston High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years and retired from Jewelcor Travel. Jane was a member the Jacquelines Auxiliary and a member of St. John the Evangelist Altar and Rosary Society.
Jane was a very kind and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Ryan, who passed away on November 15, 2016, as well as her siblings Mary M. Brogan, Agnes Ryan, James, Joseph and Kenneth Ryan.
Jane is survived by her daughters Mary Ellen and her husband Bill Nealon, of Pittston, Patti, and her husband David Klimasiewfski, of Mechanicsburg, Pa and Colleen and her husband Steve Jecen, of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren Ryan Klimasiewfski and Matthew and Luke Jecen; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Manor for their competent and compassionate care given to Jane.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 19, at 10:00am at St. John The Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston with Fr. Joseph Elston officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Monday morning at the church from 9am until time of mass. Interment will be held at the parish cemetery.
