Judith A. Jordan

Judith A. Jordan, 76, of Exeter, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Allied Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.  She was born in Pittston on February 21, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Teresa Brewster McDade.


Judy was active within the Back Mountain Harvest Assembly Church, where she took much joy in participating in their yearly live nativity scene called “The Gift”.  She was a graduate of Pittston High School Class of 1966. Judy was employed for many years for First Eastern Bank and PNC Bank, Plains.  She also worked part-time at the cosmetic counters of the Bon-Ton, Pomeroy’s, Kauffman’s and Macy’s department stores of the Wyoming Valley and then retired from Gertrude Hawk, Pittston.

 

Judy was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football. She enjoyed spending time with her former class of ’66 classmates.  But most of all she loved being with her family, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Edward and Keith McDade and her ex-husband Martin Jordan, Sr.

 

She is survived by her children, Patrick of Dupont, Martin of Exeter and Kelly Jordan and her husband Mark Warunek, of Dupont.  Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Maureen Longoria and her husband James, of San Antonio, TX, Donna Slakis and husband Joseph of Venice, FL, William McDade, Matthew McDade and wife Rosie, and wifeand Brian McDade and his wife Cheryl all of Pittston Twp., her fur grandkids and several nieces and nephews.

 

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at 4:30pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with Pastor Dan Miller of the Servant Church of the Abingtons officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday afternoon from 2pm until time of service.
