Leonard Ziobro, 80, of Dupont, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Dupont on June 10, 1944, he was the son of the late Henry and Amelia (Milewski) Ziobro.

Leonard attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Parochial School in Dupont and graduated from St. John’s High School in Pittston, class of 1962. He spent many years as a sewing machine technician for G & G Sewing Machine Company. Alongside his beloved wife of 58 years, Sharon Wrubel Ziobro, they owned and operated a Tupperware franchise, Unity Party Sales, in Rochester, NY, before retiring after many successful years of service.
Leonard cherished time with his family and found great joy in boating during the spring and summer months. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Leonard is preceded in death by his sons, Scott and Shawn Ziobro and his brother Edward Ziobro.
He is survived by his devoted wife Sharon; his daughter, Sherry Sharp, and her husband Brent of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren, Hunter Sharp and his wife Jess, Kelsey Rankin and her husband Eric; and great -grandson, Colton Rankin. Leonard is also survived by his brothers, Daniel Ziobro and his wife Sandra of Dupont, and Ronald Ziobro and his wife Sharon of Dupont, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11am at Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, 715 Hawthorne St., Avoca, with Fr. Phillip Sladicka officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Friday morning, February 21, from 10am until time of mass. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Dupont.
