Mark David Reese, 65, of Falls, passed away on November 9, 2021, at his home. He was born in Jenkins Twp., November 10, 1955, and was the son of Harry Reese and the late Thelma Lidy Reese.
Mark was a member of West Falls Baptist Church. He was a graduate of West Side Technical Vocational School. Until his death, Mark was employed by PennDOT, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for 19 years.
Mark was a lifetime member of the Lake Winola Fire Department, and a member of the Harding Fire Department, where he was president of the relief association. He and his best friend, Gene Dziak, Jr., were collectors of antique tractors and enjoyed restoring antique tractor equipment back to its original state. They are both members of the Endless Mountains Power Association tractor club. Together, they attended many local farm equipment shows to display their skilled handicraft. Over the years, both Mark and Gene won several awards in antique farm equipment.
In addition to his father Harry Reese, Mark is survived by his daughter, Hilaire Reese and her husband Randall Laubach, Jr., of Lock Haven; his brother Richard Reese and his wife Fran, of Etters. Dale Reese survived his brother Mark by three weeks but has since passed away on December 2nd, 2021.
A Christmas-themed celebration of life will be open to the public on Sunday, December 19th at Lake Winola Fire Hall, 123 Woodside Ave Falls, PA 18615 with pastoral lay leader Ernie King officiating. Friends may come for visitation on Sunday, December 19th from 10AM to 12PM. Services to follow. Interment will be held at the Mt. View Cemetery, Harding.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Lake Winola Fire Company.
