Thomas L. Wollner, 73, of Duryea, passed away on Friday October 18th, 2024, at his home. He was born in Duryea, May 4th, 1951, and was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Krzesinski) Wollner.
Tom was a member of Nativity Of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea. He attended Duryea schools and Vocational school located in Pringle. Tom worked for Pesotine Paving, Duryea and many years for Sears, Wilkes-Barre.
Tom was a die-hard NY Yankee fan, he was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sister whom he resided with, Patricia Cole and her husband Robert of Duryea. Nephews, Robert P. Cole and his wife Donna and Andrew M. Cole and his wife Kristen, also surviving are his great nieces, Carsyn and Amelia Cole and his great nephew Andrew J. Cole.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday October 26th, 2024 at 10:00am at Nativity Of Our Lord Parish Church, 127 Stephenson St. Duryea, with Fr. Michael Bryant officiating. Friends may call for visitation from 9:30am until time of mass. Interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Duryea.
Tommy was a sweet, sweet person. He used to joke with my dad at the West Side Club and was a kind, sweet and gentle soul. May he rest in eternal peace.
